This venue provides a whimsical atmosphere. Your ceremony can take place indoors or outdoors, based on size and preference, as well as your reception. The House of the Seven Gables also holds a lot of historical significance. The author, Nathaniel Hawthorne, would visit his cousin,Susanna Ingersoll, as a child at this house. This house inspired his novel The House of the Seven Gables. In addition to the main house, five other historic buildings were transported to this property.

A couple who held their wedding at The House of the Seven Gables said,
“Our experience getting married at The House of the Seven Gables was, at the risk of sounding cliche, a dream come true. The staff we worked with ensured the day ran smoothly, and having the ceremony in the garden was breathtaking, with views of the water, garden, and, of course, the seven gables. I would recommend The House of the Seven Gables as an event venue to anyone I know who wants to get married in the Greater Boston area!”
