Planner Tips
Book your venue and priority vendors as early as possible. Popular wedding professionals often reserve dates a year or more in advance.
Keep all of your contracts and planning documents together. Staying organized now will make the months leading up to your wedding much less stressful.
Don’t wait until the last month to think about your wedding day timeline. A well-planned timeline is one of the keys to a smooth, enjoyable celebration.
Remember to enjoy your engagement. Wedding planning should be exciting—not overwhelming.
When should you bring in your planner?
- Full-Service Planning: Ideally 9–18+ months before your wedding.
- Wedding Day Management: Ideally hire around 10–12 weeks before your wedding. Active coordination begins approximately 8–10 weeks out.
- Private Estate or Tented Weddings: Earlier planning is recommended because of the additional infrastructure, rentals, production and vendor logistics involved.
